Thumbprint

having done some more research into the thumb print on the photo I have I belived narrowed it down.

I can almost with a considerable degree of certainty rule out Edward and Alice Rousell and there daughter Eva. I have also ruled out the photographer..

In fact I have ruled out all members of my family both living and dead.

How have you done this I here you ask, well in true TV detective style I can tell you that the thumb print belongs to some spotty oik at Alton College because I checked the scanned images I did at home no thumb print.

On Wednesday when back at the college I checked the glass face of the scanner I had used and there bang in the middle was a thumb print left by the fore said mention oik.
So from excitement to disappointment

Thursday

wow the days get busy and someone keeps pinching the hours to make the days shorter

more trials Judging Simon my straight chase stated at the start I will be alright nige no dog has ever taken me down yet! in fact I will buy everyone that does a beer so far after week one. Si has ran 6 times and four have taken him to the ground!!!!!!!

Boys football tonight saw them lose 4-1 at home losing 1-0 at half time to a goal 4 mins before the half time whistle. Then 2 goals in 3 mins droped some heads with 15 mins to go we pulled one back had a chance for a second . Then the ref had one of those moments that make you wonder what planets they come from. following a well timed tackle by Dan he points to the spot leaving everyone other than the away team gasping in amazement. Although Chris went the right way he couldn't prevent it going in 4-1 was a harsh result for what at times was a match we controlled

Fair PlAY for Police

Today my colleagues on there day off went for a walk around London to make the point that this Government is not about fairness or honesty having gone to a lawful binding arbitration they decide not to honour the ruling and do want they want. However the Scottish police get it in full the prime minister is Scottish nuff said..

all we want is fairness and abiding by there own rules....

Today was also the start of the force police dog trial of which i am judging Phase 1 and Phase 3 at the end of the day is a mad dash to get home and changed for college. I am doing a digital Photography and Photoshop course this was week3 of 10 two things is I am surprised how much I know of this program and also how much more there is to learn...

2140 hours Nics just got in from work some bricks fell out of one of the cremators so they are running on just the one long days.

Thats all today

Hows it Going

Whilst watching Liverpool lose me, four points in my football competition had a play with the photo. How is it going?

Puppy Day Today

I have hell of a job and its days like today that justify Dans comments I am no longer a real police man has I spent all day training eight 7 month old pups, so thoose of you that have had one to yourself will know why I sleep well at night

Been assessing them with there bite work and in the afternoon there confidence in a building and barking at me for a toy must choose which ones to keep for ourselves and which ones can move on to other Police Forces. Dexter has settled well into his new home they love him loads so thats good.

Any way enough of work my mum has obvisouly been impressed with the restoration of some of the old family photographs so much so that she quickly popped one of herself in the post and asked if I could take off 20 years I said have you got on anything easier so this arrived a picture of my Grandma, Mum described it as having a slight water mark any chance of removing it
So based on her earlier request have taken this challenge on !!!!!

Sundays Updates

Well as usual Football dominated the days events

Jordy kicked the day off with a 4-1 home win against Aldershot In the league

the talk on the half way line that surely it was easier to score than miss Jordan disagreed

Cobham Youth exited the county cup to Croydon losing 2-1 aet.
Bobby's 2nd yellow for kicking the ball away midway through the second half proved costly

The evening saw Nic throw down a ten pin bowling match challenge and as much as the famous Barnes Wallis Ball was delivered it was not enough to Secure victory.

Great Great Grandparents

Currently showing on the slide show are some old black and white photographs of my great great grandparents

I have been using photoshop to repair the damage that time has inflicted on them. whilst playing around with them had two spine chilling thoughts

once zoomed into one of the photos above the young girls head my great grandma I found a thumb print (must be my policing skills) however at this point my hairs on my neck stood up

I know this could have been caused by anyone that has handled the photo over the years but it also could be any one of the relatives in the photograph

and secondly what would they have all said standing in the studio waiting to have a photograph taken (probably not moving for some time to ensure that the image was nice and sharp) would when the photographer states do you sir realise that one day one of your relatives will be sitting in front of a computer viewing and enhancing your photo this will be long after you have died
What would they have said!!!!!!!

Welcome

Its Sunday 20th January 2008
and blogging has started

I will attempt to keep a daily update of stuff going on

But in the meant time will catch you up quickly on Jan 2008

New Year Day started with the usual joys of Policing less than an hour into the first day of a new year and my hands are gloved up holding some guys side together looked like 3 stab wounds and a nice deep slash could have got a fist in the hole. and all he could do was to tell me to go away in the usual language of the nicely educated youth of today "F*** **F and leave me I'll sort it" you get the idea. Have I received a thank you card for making sure that some guys family were not down the crem in the first week don't be daft, are well the joys of the job i suppose...

Young Chris turned 16years of age suddenly realised that all his lusting's were now legal,
bought himself an electric guitar now strumming away in his bedroom!!!! earplugs all round

even scarier Dan passes his driving theory test won't be long when iI will have to catch the bus because the cars out with the boy best he saves up and gets one..

well that will do for now
